My Husband’s Second DUI Offense

My husband has made his share of mistakes, but he is not a bad guy. He is simply human. Granted, some of his mistakes can be pretty bad. For instance, a few years ago, he got pulled over for a DUI. He had to do community service, which he actually enjoyed. He vowed to never make that mistake again, but he did not that long ago. Since it was his second offense within seven years, I knew that I needed to find some DUI attorney information so we could get him some help.

I knew that he could end up spending some time in jail, particularly because drunk driving has become such an issue in the regional courts in this area. Judges are not taking the cases lightly anymore, so I knew that he would need to hire a law firm that would be able to help him not serve jail time. He was also at risk of losing his license, and this was something that could cause him to lose his job. I looked at several law firms, but I only felt comfortable with one. They were honest at their website how this was not a good situation to be in, whereas others touted how they could get a person out of this jam.

I did not need a law firm telling me what they think I want to hear. I wanted them to tell me the truth, and that was that my husband had really messed up. They cited some examples though, and I felt confident that they would be able to help him get his charges reduced to where he would not lose his license and possibly his job. We met with them, and they were able to help us tremendously. I think after this, my husband really will be careful in the future. He was extremely fortunate to have them in his corner this time around!
